The Author has translated to Kannada a writeup by her father Sri Y G Srinivasan about Sri Yogi Parthasarathy and Smt. Singamma were born in Srirangapatna in Karnataka. Sri Yogi Parthasarathy studied and worked in Melkote and then moved on to Madras (Chennai) and worked as an Advocate. The couple visited all the Srivaishnava Divyadeshams and spent their earnings for the travel and writing Dharma Granthas. The couple brought the idols of Sri Rama, Sitadevi and Lakshmana which were buried in the shores of Indian ocean, with the permission of the ruler of the state, built a temple in Ayodhya and consecrated the idols there. The temple is named after Ammaji and is more than 100 years old. Although there are many Sri Rama temples in Ayodhya, it is said that only this temple has Thiruveedhi Utsavam for the God Sri Rama. Every year Brahmotsavam is celebrated for Sri Rama and invitations are sent to Mandayam Iyengars, through Mandayam Srivaishnava Sabha (MSS) email system, by the current administrators of the temple.
