Brief about the video:
Mandayam Srivaishnava Sabha conducted a Seminar on the "Contribution of Mandayam Srivaishnavas Through The Ages" on 20 July 2014, to recognize the efforts and contribution of Mandayam Iyengars to the society in general. There are two Sessions of two part each. The Seminar was chaired by Sri Natampalli Narasimhan who delivered Presidential Address. The Chief Guest was Sri S Parthasarathy who spoke about establishing historical records of Mandayams based on the actual records. U.Ve Prof Lakshmithathacharya Swamy who presented the Keynote Address commended the contribution by Mandayam Iyengars and talked about Srivaishnavas in general and Mandayams. The compere was Sri M A N Prasad. This video is for the Session-2, Part-1. There was one presentation which is by Smt. Indira Parthasarathy about Contribution of Mandayams in the field of fine arts. She gave the name and histories in the field of Music such as Vocal, violin, veena, Mridangam and Ghatam. Then she introduced Mandayam dancers - Bharatha Naatyam and Kathak, Drama and Cinema artists, producers, cinematographers, Painters, Pakashastra Specialists, Instant Food Product producers, Rangoli artists and other form of art specialists. The second part was a panel discussion on the future visions for Mandayams, pros and cons etc. Enjoy the Video

(a) Education and Knowledge: Although our community is small, we have been in the forefront in many fields. The success achieved is only by individuals. As a community we should become stronger and more recognized In the present context of social changes, movement and distribution of our members around the world, we should come together to build a stronger, healthier, richer and noble community retaining our old values and traditions with more co-operation and involvement.
